We are able to secure a precision level of DIN3 and above for the many teeth of the gear by grinding the gear surface of the high acceleration cylinder gear with a grinder. This allows smooth movements of the gear even at a peripheral speed of 100m/s or higher. The gears are used in equipment requiring fast rotations, like a compressor or power generator.
Gears with two helical gears on a same shaft with opposite twist directions are called double helical gears. The gear surface is grinded with a gear grinder, and is used in rotational equipment that require high-speed rotations. The two helical gears with twists in the right and left directions offset thrust power, giving the gear an advantage in design and use.
